Everyday is a good day to raise awareness of breast cancer, but October is the official Breast Cancer Awareness month and it just seems appropriate to awareness to the forefront!

So many women are affected by this disease and there is still so much research to be done. Cancer is indiscriminate, it knows no age, race, or social status. I am dedicating this post to Nadene Shearstone.

Fight Breast CancerNadene was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of this year. She's in her 30's and has three small sons. Obviously the last thing anyone woman in her 30's wants, needs, or hardly thinks about is breast cancer. She put on the boxing gloves and is fighting the fight of her life. Every day is a new challenge that's she meeting and conquering. She decided to make her fight a way to fight for help for today and hope for tomorrow by setting up a fund raising campaign through     Nadene's public platform on Thrifty Business with Jay and Nay (Jason T. Smith and Nadene Shearstone) has presented the perfect opportunity to set up the campaign through the National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need.

Thrifty Business Kicks Breast Cancer!  is set up to help women and their families affected by breast cancer, and she is asking for your help!

This fundraiser is set to take place on 6/25/15 and you have until 12/31/15 to help us reach our fundraising goal.
